I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes two years ago.  I was giving myself two injections a day and taking pills.  I sought the help of a nutritionist and I got my diet under control, but my weight just kept creeping up.  Diet alone is not enough. I was exercising (walking, elliptical, DVDs) but it wasn’t very effective.  I’d get bored, felt like I was wasting my time and slack off. I was so frustrated.  I needed to get serious and seek professional 
help because I didn’t know what I was doing. I did something that I had said I would never do; I joined a fitness center and hired Krista Mayo as my personal trainer.    Krista was like having my own Jillian from Biggest Loser except Krista is much nicer in that she pushes you without being offensive and yelling at you.  I liked having someone to report to.  Krista taught me proper form
and what muscles to focus on for each exercise. We would discuss nutrition during our exercise sessions and she gave me some great suggestions.  I learned how important it is to be taught and directed by educated professionals.  I’m so happy with t
he results:  I’m no longer a diabetic; I’m off all medications for diabetes.  I’ve gained muscle; I’m toned and I’ve lost weight and inches; I have more strength and stamina than I’ve had since I was in my twenties (I’m in my upper fifties);
I sleep great, feel terrific and exercise is now just a part of my life and I enjoy it!  You can’t buy good health, but you can buy professional training to get healthy.  Krista was exactly what I needed and I would highly recommend her.  ~Pat Paddock
